Is MDVIP an executive physical program?
MVDIP is so much more than an executive physical program. If you offer eligible employees an annual physical exam benefit, you more than likely pay for or reimburse the cost of, a one or two day comprehensive battery of tests at a specialty clinic or hospital. With a typical executive physical program, once the health exam is completed, your executives are left with a stack of computer printouts. These pages of information then have to be reviewed and interpreted by a primary care doctor. This poses a number of problems since the doctor has no frame of reference or context from which to develop a course of treatment. What is included with the MDVIP Executive Health Plus Program?
The cornerstone of the MDVIP Executive Health Plus Program is the annual MDVIP executive physical exam which includes a detailed analysis of personal, medical and family history, psychological and fitness screenings and a personal wellness program. Additionally, a wallet - sized mini CD - ROM containing each executive's vital medical data and all of their medical history is provided in case of an emergency.

Is the MDVIP Executive Health Plus Program insurance?
No, the MDVIP Executive Health Plus Program is not insurance. The annual fee encompasses a comprehensive preventive care physical examination and related testing. Your executives will continue to utilize their existing health insurance for other medical services provided by their MDVIP affiliated physician throughout the year that are covered by your plans.

How does this work with my corporate benefits plan?
The annual fee may be paid through employer Section 125 plans, and is compatible with flexible spending accounts (FSAs), medical savings accounts (MSAs), and health reimbursement accounts (HRAs). The fee may also be paid through the newly established health savings accounts (HSAs). Depending upon the type of plan in which you participate, the physician will provide you with a statement for your benefits administrator either before or at the time of your physical examination.
