Last year was very difficult for me, mentally and physically. I decided to make significant changes in my life. Doing that challenge, I lost approximately fifty pounds, got rid of a big stressor in my life. I no longer take blood pressure medication. However, on three separate measurements my ALT and AST levels continued to increase instead of decrease. Dr. Royston did what he does so well. He… See more

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
The MDVIP Wellness Program allows me to focus on advanced medical screenings for bone, heart and respiratory health, sleep issues, diabetes and other key areas of prevention. I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments that start on time, which may be found in concierge medicine practices.
While the majority of my patients are from Marshall, Middleburg, Warrenton, Haymarket, Gainesville and Front Royal, Virginia, I serve patients within a 150-mile radius and always welcome new patients to my primary care practice. I am affiliated with Fauquier Hospital, INOVA Fairfax Hospital and Valley Health in Virginia. I speak English, French and Spanish languages.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Royston
He is always there for us. No matter if night or weekend.

Over this period Dr Royston has been there through all my health problems.
Giving me his support through heart surgery, prostate surgery, He has been the one person (doctor) who would take the time needed to explain each situation as it came up.
He also made sure I had the right doctor for every health situation I've had over those twenty years.
His approach to all things medical is simply Exemplary! Several years ago, my condition was not good requiring me to spend a few days in the hospital. I needed a Primary Care Physician and met with Dr. Royston and learned about MDVIP. I have not looked back on my decision to become his patient and knowing he is in my corner regardless of where my medical conditions lead is peace of mind… See more
We have been with MD-VIP for several years now. Norris Royston ("Ren") has been our primary care guy all that time.
Three years ago we moved to Alexandria, VA from Delaplane, VA - some 40 miles further from his office. Then I had a stroke a year later. Despite the distance he came to check me out and got me into nearby rehab.
Makes him super in our book!
Dr. Norris Royston at Countryside Family Practice has been my doctor for about three decades! Hard to believe. He’s always been thorough, knowledgeable and competent, but, once, on the heels of losing my dad unexpectedly, tragically, followed by my mom’s open heart surgery a week later, nursing my 12-year-old son’s newly broken arm, and losing a job I loved, Dr. Royston just listened. Really… See more
No story here. Just comment on a good doctor, who does his homework, never stops learning on his patient's behalf
and is always there for them.
Dr, Royston has been my primmary doctor for over 25 years. He is amazing. Always takes whatever time is needed to take care of me. I have to drive over 100 miles to his office, but I will keep going as long as I can drive there.
Dr Royston has always been engaged, helpful and thorough. But when I unexpectedly had a heart attack a couple of years ago, it was almost like he took it personally. He showed up that evening at the hospital having already looked at my vitals along with the doctors on the case and their plan. He assured me that I was in good hands and he would be available through the process. I had never… See more
Years ago, our baby girl had colic. It was very hard on Mom and Dad. Dr.Royston called and said he would like to come over and babysit so Mom and Dad could go to dinner and recharge. Amazing. This was almost 40 years ago. We still rely on Dr. Royston. And now, that baby girl is a mom with two children who also rely on Dr. Royston. Dr. Royston is not only highly talented and completely informed… See more
