My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

Connecting with patients on any level and speaking in a clear, straightforward yet empathetic way, is my communication style. Being entirely fluent in Spanish has enabled me to connect with more patients than I ever imagined. One of the best compliments I ever received from a patient was "you're really a regular guy who happens to be a doctor". This compliment means so much to me because I believe as a physician, communication is paramount. I also feel that earning your trust and respect starts with "walking the talk" in living a healthy lifestyle. I am an avid exercise enthusiast with a strong interest in sports medicine, which helps not only athletes but patients with any type of pain.

As a family medicine physician, with almost 20 years of experience in handling all types of chronic illnesses and doing numerous office procedures, I feel very confident in being your "quarterback" - the doctor who can handle multiple complex issues and coordinate care with the entire healthcare team. In partnering with MDVIP, my family medicine practice, similar to a concierge medical practice, will now allow me to have the time to focus on wellness and prevention. I believe preventing problems long before they come to fruition makes sense for everyone.

My practice is located in Rockville, MD adjacent to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, where I have privileges. I look forward to working together with you to accomplish all of your healthcare goals.
