Don R. Roller, MD

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My passion as your primary care physician is to educate, support and guide you to a healthier and happier life. Wellness is not just the absence of disease but an optimal state of functioning. Can you do the things you want to do at this stage of your life? With MDVIP’s support, I am able to spend more time with my patients to discuss their health concerns in detail, explore the underlying causes and make a plan for attainable – and sustainable – lifestyle change.

One of my primary interests is nutrition, with a focus on whole food, plant-based eating. What we eat on a daily basis is a key determinate of our health and longevity. According to a report by the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR), many cancers can be delayed or even prevented through a balance of regular physical activity and a plant-based diet. If there is anything that deserves critical thought, it is what we eat.

As one of the few family medicine physicians in our area offering a personalized healthcare approach, I get to know each of my patients well beyond their immediate needs. I have over 30 years’ experience practicing in the community, and my concierge-style practice currently serves all of greater Tulsa, as my office is centrally located at 47th and Harvard.
