Emily A. Nolfo, MD, FACP

Roseanne, CT Apr 3, 2017

Dr. Nolfo, is without a doubt, the most knowledgeable, empathic doctor I have ever seen. While I appreciate the perks provided by MDVIP, smaller practice, ability to reach Dr. Nolfo, I feel this is who she was long before MDVIP was in the picture. I appreciate not being judged, something, I've been subject to, on too many other occasions by other physicians. Dr. Nolfo takes time to really listen, to me, as a patient, along with concerns about my mom, who has been a patient of Dr. Nolfo for 25 years.

Dr. Nolfo is a breath of fresh air when it comes to Doctors. She goes above and beyond taking care of her patients.

Since the days of CHCP care in Branford, Ct...the good doctor caught idioventricular heart problems in my son; diagnosed possible prostrate cancer (it was)-am a 7yr survivor after DaVinci robot surgery; kept my blood pressure & choelesterol under control with medication, diet & exercise. Dr. Nolfo has a bigger challenge with my wife's blood pressure after a slight stroke-she is persistent in trying to get my wife's situation under control...

In the 5 years that I've been with Dr. Emily she has made some vey important and successful calls on my health matters. Some were troubling me for years. One particular call saved my European vacation just in the nick of time. Had I travelled before treatment I could have been in serious trouble. I particularly like her style in that I feel like I'm part of the decision making process. I can question or even suggest an alternate path forward to consider. I think this shows the highest respect for the patient. I recently moved to Massachusetts, and although I do believe all MDVIP doctors are good, I'm having a hard time deciding to leave Dr. Emily. She's worth the drive back to CT a few times a year. And since she is also very accessible thru phone or email, I feel I can make this work for awhile. Good luck Dr. Emily, and I hope you don't retire anytime soon.

I'm very glad we found Dr. Nolfo! I am confident in the quality of care my husband and I receive. I think the time she spends with us is very important, and it is really valuable to know that our questions will be answered quickly and thoughtfully. The relationship we have with Dr. Nolfo is unlike any other we have had with a doctor, and is terrific.
