Jeffrey E. Silver, MD, FAASM, FACP

madelyn, MA Apr 1, 2017

Jeff Silver is more than a doctor. He is a therapist, a friend, a hand holder when necessary. He inspires total confidence - I have never felt the need for a second opinion - nor do I expect I ever will. He has staffed his office carefully, and with great success. I am indeed fortunate to have Dr. Silver as my doctor.

On National Doctors' Day, we wish to recognize Dr. Jeffrey E. Silver for the excellent care that he continues to provide for us. Over they years, he has demonstrated that he is always approachable and available to listen and help us with our medical issues. This is important to us since we live 230 miles north of his office, but still feel that he is close to us when we need him anytime during the day, night or week-end. We value his professional judgment and competency in treating our medical needs. He is a great doctor and we're fortunate to have an excellent relationship with him.

Jeffrey E. Silver, MD, FAASM, FASP has enhanced me if accomplishing significant improvement in my health and life because of: Trust, confidence and respect for years of exemplary complex medical care management at the hands of Dr. Jeffrey E. Silver and his expertise is what I am most grateful for in him being my PCP. The passion, compassion and most important his medical expertise he emulates in his profession and care of patients is unique. I am healthier, less disabled and enjoying life more because of his ability to diagnose and manage my complex and chronic issues which he consulted on with many colleagues who most often assured me Dr. Silver was managing me thoroughly and as best as they could. His discipline for learning more, passion, expertise and desire to provide the best possible care to his patients, and not hesitate to reach out to colleagues when needed is exemplary both as a physician and as a mentor to others in the medical profession. No matter how hectic his day, when Dr. Silver walks through the door, he always greets me with a warm smile and a friendly handshake. He makes good eye contact and is such a good listener. He really understands me and offers me sound advice, helping me to see a different angle of my problem with a realistic solution. Dr. Silver also has a great sense of humor. Although many other patients may have more serious issues, he never minimizes my issues and treats me with respect. He's a straight talker with a calming presence. I feel better just talking with him.

Dr. Silver has been my primary care physician for almost 30 tears and at 82 living with MS, leukemia,a stroke etc. etc. he has always pointed me in the right direction to keep on moving which really is up to me. One of his strengths is that when visiting with him he gives me the time, never rushed, looks right at me and listens ! That is why after all these years I do depend on him to keep me going.

Aside from always being just a phone call away, and a master at diagnosis, it is so obvious that Dr. Silver absolutely loves what he does. That makes using him as a doctor all the more satisfying. Madelyn

Dr. Silver and staff are very 'hands on' medical group. They know me well and that is important to my overall health goals. Too bad he couldnm't play squash better.
