My mother and I were patients of Dr. Pitoscia prior to his joining MDVIP. Today I am glad that our doctor had the foresight to join such an elite group and buffer us from the upcoming Obamacare nightmare. Aside from being a very thorough and knowledgeable doctor, what makes him stand out is his humor. He helps you to cope by lightening possibly a heavy situation with a positive spin. . For example: I had given my Mom an advertised supplement for arthritis. It contained an element which caused her a severe allergic reaction. Breaking out in large red welts throughout her body and face. Dr. Pitoscia had her come in at the end of the day. As we sat in the waiting room, Dr. Pitoscia peaked in and loudly commented to my Mom, what happened to all my patients did you chase them away? My Mom was flabbergasted, but it was a wonderful way to break the ice. I thank him for that day and all the many days he made my Mom feel special. God Bless You Dr. Pitoscia

It was 1984. I went to my Gynecologist for a check-up & was told I had Fibroid& to come back in 6 months for a follow-up. I wasn't very comfortable with her diagnosis & decided to get a second opinion. At the time I didn't have a primary are Physician so I made an appointment with my Mother's, which turned out to be the best decision of my life. That is how I met Doctor Tom Pitoscia. He had me get other tests & correctly diagnosed Ovarian Cancer. I was operated on shortly after & went through a series of Chemotherapy which at the time seemed worse than the Cancer. I have been tested starting every 3 months, then 6 months, now once a Year. I am now Cancer free & enjoying my 4 children & 9 grandchildren all because Dr. Tom saved my life!

Dear MDVIP, Doctor Thomas Pitoscia has been my doctor for the past 25 or so years. I feel so fortunate to have his expartise, skill, and friendship in these times. He is always professional, explains things clearly, and has taken good care of our family, including my husband, and 2 daughters. A year ago in September I was air lifted from Nantucket Island (MA) to Boston Mass General Hospital. There I underwent an aortic resectiioon, which was followed by a stroke. During this ordeal Dr. Pitoscia kept in touch with my family in Boston from New Jersey by phone. His advice and the care I recieved at Mass General are the reason at age 71 I am here today. Dr. Pitoscia is following up with his expert care of me. I am forever thankful to him, and feel very blesssed to have him.

Dr. Tom Pitoscia has been our 'family doctor' for over 35 years -- he was also the primary physician for my husband's Mother and both of my parents. His understanding of our collective history is comforting to me! As my husband and I advance in years, we rely on his guidance more than ever.,
