Dr Rai and his MDVIP wellness plan have given my wife and me guidance to a healthier life style. Our lives are more balanced and we feel healthy at 71 thanks to Dr Rai. A visit or phone call with Dr Rai we never feel rushed. We are not just another appointment for him he truly cares about our well-being. My family and I are grateful and thank him for the gift he has given us.

Dr. Rai is like family. He has genuine concern for our health and well being and makes it known that he is always available for us. We don't like to call him after hours, but when necessary we do and he never makes us feel like we are bothering him. He has even called us on a weekend to check on us. I think the best thing is that my 19 year old daughter feels like she can be honest with him and have an open conversation. She went to see him recently and her boyfriend was with her. After the visit, her boyfrien told her that he couldn't believe the conversation that she just had with her Dr. She just said, Who, Dr. Rai?, he's family. All of my kids feel that way and that to me is a BIG deal. In order to get good quality medical treatment you have to be open and honest with your Dr. and you always need to communicate. Dr. Rai makes that very easy.

Dr. Rai has been my physician for well over 10 years. I was with him prior to him joining MDVIP. I always thought very highly of him, his approach, knowledge and bedside manner were top notch. What changed when we made the transition to MDVIP is my awareness of my health. Sounds cliche but it's true. I started reaching middle age and never stopped, between my highly demanding job, home life, outside activities; my health was something I really only thought of if something was wrong, (cold, flu etc) or at night when I couldn't sleep and I would worry about all of the things that could be wrong with me. (I am a bit of a worry wart!) I was reaching the age where I started losing close, older family members, my aunts, uncles & my parents. It was a slow transformation & awakening: initially I went to see Dr. Rai every year, always 'fearing' the worst. When the results were non-life threatening (unless I ignored them for many more years!), I went on about my business. I gradually, and after several years of same results at my annual, I began to shift my thinking. Instead of fearing what could be wrong, I began to want to know what was happening with my body, and realized I am the ONLY one who can make even subtle changes. When I started thinking this way, the awareness brought with it, a sense of ownership of my own health and life. The fear went away and was replaced with empowerment. I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm getting there. I'm slowly losing weight, seeing improvement in results of blood work and now, I have challenged myself to get even better. I know, if not for the attention of Dr. Rai and his fabulous staff and the MDVIP approach, I would still be spinning out there, probably 20 pounds heavier instead of 20 lbs lighter and who knows how much worse the story my blood panel would tell? Dr. Rai is the same wonderful doctor he has always been, but with the MDVIP approach he has been able to have the time to know me better, and along the way, help me see things differently. Thank you Dr. Rai, I can't thank you enough! (I'm actually looking forward to my next annual to see how much more improvement 2013 will show!)
