Robert A. Brinkman, MD

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My philosophy is to put the patient first and act as your health care advocate. By this I mean I will provide your physical health care needs and provide emotional support in a patient-friendly environment. I treat my patients as family members and help guide them through the complexity of today’s health care system.

This philosophy develops partnerships with patients to achieve these goals. This involves enhanced preventive care. Honest and open communication with the patient is paramount. Patients are always treated with respect and compassion.

I believe that each patient is a complex individual with his/her own unique biopsychosocial components. As such, health care needs must be addressed and tailored to each individual. A “one size fits all” is obsolete in today’s health care environment.
