My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
Enjoying a smaller practice permits me to spend quality time with each patient and advocate for smart care, not more care. The time available allows me to form a very close bond with my patients to facilitate a level of trust and comfort. My patients are known to me as people. Understanding their personal history, as well as their medical history, I can deliver more individualized care and help them navigate challenges as they arise. As a specialist in internal medicine, I am skilled in diabetic care, cardiovascular disease, asthma, COPD, cholesterol and blood pressure treatment. Together, we can take a more preventive approach to medicine to help you enjoy a healthier life in the decades to come.
Unlike many traditional primary care physicians, I have admitting privileges at Unity (Park Ridge) and Rochester General hospitals, which are part of Rochester Regional Health. I am committed to your care and will continue to be your physician in and out of the hospital. In the event you require hospitalization, I can be at your bedside directing your care as your hospitalist. If you go to another facility, I can advocate for your care and oversee your follow‐up care. Your continuity of care is essential; I am your physician in the office, in the hospital and at home. As the quarterback of your healthcare team, I can help arrange care with specialists as needed, along with my highly committed staff.
My patients appreciate my dedication to remaining up to date with current medical information, guidelines and research. I have completed a preceptorship in the BaleDoneen Method®, a unique comprehensive and science‐based approach for better detecting, preventing and treating cardiovascular disease. This training supports my commitment to the prevention of stroke and heart attack and has helped me gain deeper insights into the factors that can put patients at risk for these events. I am honored to be a consulting physician for the Wellness Dentistry Network, which also strives to focus on prevention.
Prioritize your most valued asset – your health. Call Ann, Andrea, or Holly to schedule a complimentary meeting to learn more about my MDVIP‐affiliated primary care practice. The ability to positively impact the lives of so many is such a privilege. We should not lose sight of medicine’s primary goal: meeting the unique health needs of each patient.

Dr. Ragusa is not only a great doctor, he's always a friend to his patients. Always looking for the best way to treat his patients and constantly updating his studies on medicine and treatments. This man is unbelievable. Just a all around wonderful person. I'm blessed to have him.
I have been with Dr Ragusa a long time. When he he changed toMDVIP he was able to spend more time with me and teach me what I needed to know. One time I became very sick and he told me to go to emergency. When I arrived there he had called and they were waiting for me. Within 10 minutes he he came in to make sure I was ok. He is one of the best THANK YOU DR Ragusa
Ann Tremblay is the first face we see when we visit the office and the first voice we hear when we call. She is so comforting, and patient with my mom who is almost 90 and moving slow, but also likes to tell lots of stories. Ann listens and responds so nicely to mom, its like she was a member of the family. She follows up on every phone call and is so prompt in responding back to us. She… See more
