My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I believe medicine is a partnership between a patient and their doctor. As your doctor, I want to educate, advise, and support you on a path to a healthier, happier life. I have practiced internal medicine and rheumatology at Piedmont Hospital for 31 years, and I continue to love what I do each day. Both of my daughters have pursued medical careers as well, and I think they did so in part because they know how happy, stimulated, and fulfilled I am as a result of my frequent interactions with patients. MDVIP allows me to spend even more time with my patients, to be available when they need me, and to place additional focus on preventive care.
