My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My goal as a primary care physician is to continue to build on current patient relationships as well as create new ones. Together we can emphasize prevention and review ways of promoting better health to reduce the risk of future medical issues.
Affiliating with MDVIP affords me the opportunity and tools to work with my patients to practice medicine the way it was meant to be practiced. We will be able to discuss concerns, formulate plans and coordinate proper consultations in a timely manner with subsequent follow up.
I was formally trained in internal medicine with specialty training in pulmonary and critical care medicine. I found, over the years, that treating critically ill patients gave me great satisfaction. However, I missed the foundation of why I went into internal medicine. I enjoy caring for patients as individuals. In some instances, I care for 3 generations of families, which is extremely fulfilling. Spending the time to completely understand my patients needs is vitally important to creating better health and preventing setbacks in the future.
I have been a practicing physician in the community for the past 26 years. My practice incorporates internal medicine and pulmonary consultation. I typically see patients in Greater Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas including Plantation, Tamarac, Coral Springs, Parkland and Boca Raton and have office locations in Tamarac and Coral Springs.

Dr. Charles Lieber managed my husband's healthcare and kept him alive and stable for many years. He was quite ill. I depend upon him for all my healthcare needs and he is professional, compassionate and thorough in all that he does. There is no finer doctor in the universe.

from Candice June 24, 2018 for Charles E. Lieber, MD, FCCP

I was hesitant to sign up because I've been in pretty good health However Dr. Lieber has been my primary for 15 years and the thought of starting over did not appeal to me. I also signed my husband up. Well this was the best thing I ever did. Since I signed up my husband was hospitalized and Dr. Lieber was there for us every step of the way. Calling, texting, visiting in the recovery… See more

from Gary May 7, 2018 for Charles E. Lieber, MD, FCCP

Dr. Charles Lieber and his office staff are extremely thorough and compassionate. Since joining MDVIP only recently, I experienced what could have become a medical emergency. Dr. Lieber made himself available late at night and gave me potentially life-saving medical advice. I am grateful Dr. Lieber took my call and I was further impressed that he took the time out of his busy weekend to… See more
