My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

The patient physician relationship is the most important aspect in developing trust in the management of an individual’s medical needs. This relationship is of utmost importance to my practice of medicine. I love treating families and knowing the medical and personal histories of the family members and how they impact each individual’s health. By having the complete picture, I can be more proactive in prevention of problems that are genetic in nature. I try to really listen to each patient, and I’ve found that often by listening carefully the diagnosis will become clear. It’s like putting a puzzle together. My main passion is to keep my patient population as healthy, happy and active as possible. Over the past few years, I have studied, attended numerous national conferences, read books and research articles on wellness and healthy aging. Research studies prove that modest interventions in diet, exercise and nutrition favorably impact the aging process in humans. Patients who have preventive screenings, early disease detection, aggressive intervention and optimal nutrition are investing in extended lifespans as well as prolonging health span - the length of time that they are able to live productively and independently. I believe my patients deserve the best care available to them. I want them to feel confident that I will be there for them throughout their journey to health and wellness. I love to laugh with my patients. I truly believe that laughter heals and a positive outlook on life is crucial to wellness and longevity.

The thing I like the most is being able to call my doctor related to any medical issue and get immediate advice or an immediate for a sit down discussion of my issues. For example, I have shingles at the current time and had a long discussion with Dr. Veale about this earlier this week. Dr. Veale is always interested in trying to get the to the cause instead of just treating the effects, and I… See more

In September of 2013, I was referred to Dr. Veale after having 13 UTIs since January of that year. Dr. Veale ran tests and put me on a regimen of bio-identical hormone therapy and natural supplements. This regimen changed the quality of my life and for that I am very grateful to Dr. Veale. He took the time to listen to me, run the necessary tests, analyze my problem, and talk in-depth about… See more

Dr Veale has been my family's doctor since we moved to Auburn in 1985. Our only child at the time was one year old. She got sick the first weekend. Dr. Veale took care of her on a Saturday. She is now 33 years old. We have been with Dr Veale ever since. He is very personable and really shows he cares and is interested in your overall health.

I met Dr. Veale in 1992 when I first moved to Auburn. He was in a Doc -in-the-Box(Urgent Care). I did not have a doctor in Auburn yet. He was wearing a Hawaiian shirt when I met him and was very mellow. I was immediately relaxed talking with him. Because I had an instant comfort with him, I continued to go back when I needed a doctor. Shorty after that, he moved to his own practice and… See more
