When I was a teenager, my mother's personal doctor inspired me to become a family doctor. Into his 80s, he continued to give her unhurried, same-day appointments and personalized care. I am thrilled about my MDVIP affiliation and reduced practice size so I can offer the same kind of personal care that my mother benefited from.

With the additional testing and tools available through the MDVIP Wellness Program, my patients and I can work together to better identify trends and potential risks that traditional tests might not indicate. We can also try to better identify diseases at earlier stages and, by proactively working to reduce inflammation, such as in blood vessels, we may be able to better prevent heart attacks and strokes. We can individually appropriate nutritional and diet plans, exercise, and rehabilitation of muscles to help improve joint mobility. The tools we use can help better control conditions such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, obesity and fatty liver disease while aiming to chart a healthier and happier path to wellness. 

I have been practicing medicine for more than 35 years, starting at Patuxent Medical Group in Columbia, Maryland, and continuing at Columbia Medical Practice. My MDVIP-affiliated practice is in the same location, and I remain affiliated with Howard County Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

I welcome you to join me in a more personalized primary care practice. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I offer conveniences like prompt same- or next-day appointments. Additionally, we offer a world of resources within the MDVIP member portal. With these tools, plus the longer conversations we can have during office visits, I hope to earn your satisfaction and trust in my care for many good years to come.
