My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My goal as your personal primary care physician is to provide proactive and individualized care with an emphasis on prevention and wellness. We all know that it is better to predict and prevent health problems before they can become more complicated. My intention, therefore, will be to help you get ahead of your health to promote your longevity and quality-of-life.

In my personalized family medicine practice, similar to concierge medicine, I develop close relationships with my patients and provide them with a comprehensive healthcare plan that matches their needs. To achieve this, I build upon my 20 years’ experience in the areas of family medicine, urgent care, sports medicine, military medicine, wound care and other outpatient procedural care. I am also seeking to add aesthetics to my practice because as we live longer, we want to feel – and look – as healthy as possible.

My practice is located in the beautiful Cross Keys/Roland Park area of Baltimore, Maryland, just northwest of Johns Hopkins University and serves patients from North Central Baltimore City, Southern Baltimore County, Roland Park, Towson, Hampden, Ruxton, Stoneleigh, Rogers Forge, Mt. Washington, Guilford, Tuscany-Canterbury, Mester, Charles Village, Wyndhurst, Keswick and Evergreen. I am accepting a limited number of new patients.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Kleese

from Debra in MD March 30, 2020 for Dr. Matthew T. Kleese

When Dr Kleese took over Dr Zebley's practice about a year ago, he stepped into a large and challenging arena. He certainly appears to have been the doctor best suited for it. He came in with the knowledge, skill and patience that enabled him to seamlessly continue on with patient care. I am thankful that my mom and I are both in his care. His kindness and empathy are so much appreciated… See more

from Shirley in MD March 19, 2020 for Dr. Matthew T. Kleese

Dr.Matthew Kleese is a professional and compassionate doctor. He takes the time to listen and address my health issues and concerns. This past year, he and staff quickly performed two pre-op procedures. Before each surgery, Dr. Kleese took the time to calm my anxiety and fear. After each surgery, he did a follow-up call to check on my well-being.

I appreciate the health care I… See more

from Don in MD March 10, 2020 for Dr. Matthew T. Kleese

Every year Dr Kleese performs a complete physical and discusses any health complaints I have. After describing a declining ability to run on a treadmill and occasional chest pains, Dr Kleese said my cholesterol is a little high and recommended seeing a cardiologist. Following his advice a heart stress test was made, and an invasive test indicating a severely blocked main artery. A stent was… See more

from Adam in MD February 29, 2020 for Dr. Matthew T. Kleese

I find Dr Kleese, my husband's physician, to be a superb, responsive and wholly efffective primary physician. My husband has many conditions: blindness, hydrocepbalus, the beginning of Alzheimer's. Recently he picked his ear and had a cyst from blood that flowed and formed one. I called Dr Kleese for an appointment and he called back immediately and said, no call 911 and get him to a hospital… See more
