My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

In partnering with you, my goal is to use my expertise to help you achieve positive health outcomes. I like to orient myself with the whole person and the systems they are in rather than just focusing on one’s symptoms or condition. I will help you prioritize your health and the areas that are important to you.

I am body affirming and LGBTIQNB welcoming. As a family, hospice and palliative care physician, I am able to partner with you and your family through all stages of life. I can connect you with appropriate care in eastern, functional and somatic modalities as fits your orientation and need. I bring my heart into the room with each and every patient, giving you the time you need and the space to tell your story in order to help provide and develop the personal care we all deserve. And my MDVIP-affiliated practice, often compared to a concierge medicine practice, offers conveniences like same- or next-day appointments.

I am a certified Hakomi therapist and teacher (somatic psychotherapy). Additionally, with over 12 years as a hospice medical director, I understand the challenges of end of life. My passions are teaching and powerlifting, and I offer community education around various topics, such as exercise and nutrition. The four cornerstones of wellness that I bring are movement, rest, nutrition (momentary and broad) and hydration.

I am affiliated with MarinHealth Medical Center (formerly Marin General) and serve the following areas: Marin County, including the towns of Belvedere, Bolinas, Corte Madera, Dillon Beach, Fairfax, Forest Knolls, Greenbrae, Inverness, Kentfield, Lagunitas, Larkspur, Marin City, Marshall, Mill Valley, Nicasio, Novato, Olema, Point Reyes, Ross, San Anselmo, San Geronimo, San Rafael, Sausalito, Stinson Beach, Tiburon, Tomales and Woodacre. I also serve Santa Cruz County, including the towns of Santa Cruz, Capitola, Watsonville, Aptos, Felton and Scotts Valley.
