A mysterious gastrointestinal ailment has kept me sidelined for three months now. Dr. Zito has followed me closely, been encouraging, and ready and able to help with advice, prescriptions, and a home visit. Once this coronavirus episode is over, he will further explore my treatment with an appropriate hospital. He is not going to give up. I appreciate his concern and interest.
My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
Located in Pittsford, New York, my primary care practice serves patients in Monroe County, as well as locations between Buffalo and Syracuse and south of Rochester. I am affiliated with Rochester General Hospital. If hospitalized, I will visit you and coordinate your care with specialists at Strong Memorial, Highland and Unity hospitals. I regularly collaborate with the specialists in cardiology, neurology, psychiatry and geriatrics.
As a private internal medicine physician, my patients receive same-day or next-day visits in an unhurried, relaxed office where I can listen, diagnose and help you achieve your healthcare goals through wellness and prevention. I am never too busy to see you, and that includes house calls. I am just a phone call away, including evenings and weekends. I believe a very strong doctor-patient relationship is essential in achieving the best plan for healthy living and prevention of illness. My MDVIP-affiliated practice also offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.
I believe that diet and exercise are essential components in achieving good health – and I practice what I preach. I enjoy organic gardening and exercise regularly by swimming laps. My staff is very welcoming, efficient and will personally answer your calls and questions. I invite you to call my office and allow my staff to arrange a complimentary face-to-face office visit. Let me understand your health goals and show you how my proactive and personalized approach to healthcare can help improve your life.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Zito
We have been patients of Dr. Zito for many, many years. He has always been an amazing doctor and diagnostician, but on many occasions he has really been a friend. Being part of an MDVIP practice, Dr. Zito has been able to devote even more time to each of us as patients. I will never forget him coming to our home when my dad was so ill. He comforted us, and spoke frankly with my dad,… See more
I am a 80year old patient of Dr.Zito. The doctor has watched over me like I was his father. After my latest A1C test he wanted to share the good news. The doctor was unable to contact me by phone so he drove to my office to give me the results. I was delighted to see Dr.Zito was as excited as I was. Thank you doctor for taking such excellent care of me.
Dr. Zito provides the best medical care we could hope for. His ability to listen, and then help is second to none. He is the definition of a good doctor. Thank you for your dedication and care.
