Hamid Keshvari-Rasti, MD

I am a specialist in internal medicine, primary care and hospital medicine and believe practicing medicine is much more than just applying one’s knowledge to treat several human pathologies. For me, the most successful physicians are the ones who incorporate the “art” of medicine into their methods. Such art, just as any other form, requires many years of practice and personal development. Over the years, I have adopted a personalized team approach to medical care which allows me to spend quality time with my patients helping them to learn about their body and better ways to prevent disease. This patient-doctor partnership and individualized approach has led to a greater sense of well-being for my patients and an easier path to achieve their goals. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments that start on time. 

As a Miami local physician, I have been caring for Dade and Broward County patients for over a decade. My outpatient experience ranges from care of heathy adults to the management of complex chronic conditions of the adolescent to the geriatric population. Concurrently, I have been providing services to thousands of critically ill inpatient hospital patients. My range of experience has exposed me to a variety of conditions not otherwise possible by outpatient or inpatient care alone.  

Accordingly, over the years, I have developed a network of specialists from cardiologists, endocrinologists and gastroenterologists to oncologists, physical therapists and nutritionists. Such relationships have been one of my greatest sources of success in achieving effective treatment outcomes. Furthermore, my affiliation with many local hospitals, such as Mount Sinai Medical Center and Aventura Hospital and Medical Center has allowed me to follow patients there as needed. 

Our location in South Florida gives easy island access to residents of Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Brickell, downtown Miami and South Beach, as well as many areas in Miami-Dade County.
