My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My vision is a healthcare model with a strong emphasis on wellness and prevention established through a personalized healthcare approach.  This approach allows me the time to provide an individualized, unique healthcare plan structured to help meet not only your current but your future goals as well. Similar to conveniences often associated with concierge medicine practices, I also offer same- or next-day appointments that start on time.  

After nearly 20 years of practice, I am only one of a few internal medicine physicians providing this type of preventive medical approach to the Hartford county area. My new MDVIP-affiliated practice is located in Windsor, Connecticut. I am affiliated with Hartford Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center.

As an 82 yr old in reasonably good health who only visited Dr Kleinhen about 3-4 times (incl 2 wellness visits) a year, 2019 was a new experience for me.
