I was recently in Colorado rockies visiting with my daughter for a long weekend. I became violently ill with a stomach issue and became very concerned that with the altitude and inability to keep anything down, I would become dehydrated. I called Dr. Feuer first thing on a Saturday morning for her advice. As usual, she gave me perfect advice. She called in a prescription to the local pharmacy and told me what to watch for before heading to an urgent care. She also told me that because of my location, I should call ahead to the urgent care facility to make sure they could give me IV fluids, something I would never have thought of on my own. Thankfully, I did not need urgent care and began to feel better several hours after taking the medicine. This is not the first time I've called Dr. Feuer on a weekend for help. I have been a patient of Dr. Feuer's for over 20 years. When I decided to join her in the MDVIP program I was a bit skeptical about it being worth the money. I have no doubts now that it is. Dr. Feuer's attention to me and my health has been has been amazing. One thing that really stands out is when I had my first physical as a member of MDVIP. I am somewhat over weight and Dr. Feuer engaged me in a conversation about losing weight, eating right, etc. What touched me was the fact that as we talked about what foods to eat, she said she would go grocery shopping with me if I wanted her to. Another thing that stands out is when I recently had a very bad sinus/viral infection and nothing I was taking seemed to knock it out of my system. After about 10 days of dealing with my infection, Dr. Feuer told me she was going to be out of the office for a week but that her assistant would be available. Much to my surprise, her assistant called me the first thing Monday morning and asked how I was feeling. That meant a lot to me.

Meet Jacqueline Feuer, MD

My goal as your primary care doctor is to provide you with highly personalized healthcare with an emphasis on prevention and wellness. My hope is that as an MDVIP-affiliated practitioner, I will have the time to get to know you on a whole new level. I want you to feel like you are getting the greatest possible care in a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone knows who you are and what is most important to you.

I am also a board-certified rheumatologist. As a rheumatologist, I specialize in arthritis care and other autoimmune diseases.

My certification in health coaching aligns perfectly with my wellness goals and will give me the tools to help you achieve your desired lifestyle changes.

With over 25 years of practicing in Needham, I have developed relationships with many excellent specialists who will be available for all of your needs. I will continue to practice in the same office with hospital affiliations including Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Needham.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience.
