My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

Partnering with MDVIP has allowed me to continue practicing primary care medicine the way that I have for over 3 decades. With all the changes in medicine and the pressures to see more patients and fill out countless forms, it has become increasingly more difficult to spend the time needed to medically treat current health issues as well as prevent new ones. I want to formulate a personalized healthcare plan with each patient focusing on prevention and wellness. I want to go beyond just medical care and learn who my patients are - where they grew up, their schooling, their work and family lives, their favorite books and movies, and other outside interests. Knowing a person on a deep personal level is vital to taking care of a person.

I am a strong believer in the benefits of good nutrition and exercise to maintain optimal health. Preventive medicine can be practiced at any age and preserving a good quality of life is the ultimate goal. We will be a health care team and we can reach this goal together.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Phillips

from Mike in TX October 6, 2022 for Jeffrey Phillips, MD, FACP

My wife and I were blessed with our two grandchildren this year, with our ages being 73 and 69. The toddlers to be are growing, and we are exercising like never before. We see other grandparents around us, very sad that they cannot pick up their grandchildren. It is also clear that when they start walking/running, they will not be able to keep up with them.
