Dr. Okimura has an MD and a high level of knowledge as a general practitioner. However, she also has an advanced degree in Nutrition, and this combination of medical and nutritional knowledge and experience has changed the way I eat. I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and high levels of sugar in my blood. As a result I also had plague buildup in four of my arteries. My answer to… See more

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Okimura
I have a series of acute and chronic conditions made worse by a rare genetic condition that has weakened all of my connective tissue. I live on a beautiful island that has a serious shortage of physicians and even fewer knowledgeable about my genetic condition. Perfect storm. When I heard about MDVIP, I was cautiously optimistic that I might be able to have a doctor who could quarterback my… See more
My wife and I have always had wonderful doctors. Unfortunately, the last three closed their practices citing Obamacare and their inability
and unwillingness to change their practices to reduce time spent with patients and the overburdening costs of administration. Three doctors
closed their practices at a time when this country can least afford to lose doctors in their profession… See more
My previous primary care physician, whom I genuinely like, was saddled with more than 2000 patients and never had more than 15 minutes to meet with me. The nature of that business model made it impossible to be proactive in managing patient care and instead led to pharmaceutical solutions to manage health issues. Faced with a lifetime prescription to Lipitor, I opted for more customized care… See more
I am so grateful to have found Judy. I have the utmost respect for my previous PCPs, but there is only so much preventive medicine that can be practiced in an 10-15 minute annual doctor's visit. Judy has spent literally hours getting to know my medical history and developing a customized wellness program for me. She is knowledgeable and passionate about her clients' care. People… See more
Dr. Okimura is such a good listener and shows compassion. Its so wonderful to sit and talk with a doctor who takes time to get to know me personally. Most docs seem rushed and stressed. It seems like theyd rather be doing some other job. And most doctors only look at diagnostic test results. It has become a hands off profession.
I feel fortunate to be in good care.
Linda and I and our sons are tickled pink with the amazing responsiveness and time Dr Okimura spends with us the various health issues that have come up. We feel very blessed to have found her and MDVIP as our primary resource for our health. She has inspired us to continue our proactive attitude towards our
health. She's terrific!

My Doctor is the Best!!!
Dr. Judy Okimura is the most caring person. Very easy to talk to about all of the health concerns.
Doctor (& staff) is pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, caring, dedicated, empathetic.....she's a good-hearted person who sincerely wants to help people.
Has an easy-going, medically-substantiated way of convincing me to follow her medical plan, although I'm hesitant due to past experiences or beliefs.
Some of my friends, travel mates with me on a 2016 trip to China, are still impressed with how Dr. Okimura responded when my eye became infected on that trip. I woke up one morning with a crusty and pusty eye so I texted Dr. Okimura on the number provided on the MDVIP card that I carry in my wallet. She responded quickly, assessed what I described and told me what kind of prescription… See more
