My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

Since opening my own medical practice in 2001, it has been my goal to educate, guide and empower individuals in maintaining or restoring their health. Rather than only treating disease, it has always been my mission to decrease the risk of future health problems allowing each person to reach their individual wellness potential.

It is my belief that we have the knowledge today to reverse the trend of chronic disease by using cutting-edge research and combining the best of conventional medicine with the thought leaders in the fields of nutrition and lifestyle medicine. It is my honor and privilege to listen and work together in partnership with my patients to achieve their health goals based on their unique needs.

Dr. Deckert has been my physician for 12 plus years. She has been exceptional and extremely knowledgeable with my condition. I truly do not know what would have happen to me had she not come into my life. I know it's ridiculous but, I have no idea what I am going to do when she retires.

My blood pressure was out of control and anxiety causing it to become worse. She not only found the correct medications, but calmed the anxiety without drugs. My husband and I have had to contact her when she was not in the office and she was always readily available. We both feel we have made a good decision in choosing MDVIP and Dr. Deckert. She has been a blessing in our lives. Adrienne… See more

I have been struggling for month with thyroid and adrenal fatigue. Dr Deckert could not understand why my body was not healing on it's own. She had me take 23and me and met with a genetic specialist to discover I have several gene mutations that are causing the problem. We were thrilled to find this new information.

In a word, or two, Stress reduction. I feel very confident that my health care is being monitored by someone who knows me and my specific issues and is readily available (emphasis on readily) to help me resolve unforeseen issues.
I was very frustrated prior to becoming an MDVIP patient with Dr. Deckert with the insurance/paperwork, approval/referral, wait/delay system of our current… See more

I have been with Dr Deckert since she was located in Alpine. I was so happy to find a doctor that would listen to my lists of concerns. As time went on I would wait in the office sometimes over 1 hour but it was ok with me because this was the kind of medical help I needed. I never wanted to see other Doctor after her. She understood my wanted to be more on the preventive side. She, even… See more
