My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I have been a primary care doctor in the Manhattan area for more than 40 years. I have more time to listen and help discuss what matters to you. I believe that the job of a doctor is twofold: TO CARE and TO SERVE. I care about patients holistically, including their physical, mental and social well-being. I serve by providing wellness strategies, reviewing acute and chronic medical conditions.

Because my practice is smaller in size, our appointments can take as long as needed. If you are sick or concerned, it allows for same- or next-day appointments and phone calls answered by my staff and messages promptly directed to me as needed. My patients can even call me after hours or when traveling.

I offer the annual MDVIP Wellness Program. It includes a series of advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests that have been shown to help identify certain risk markers. The lab findings and test results can help provide a deeper picture of your health, and with this information, we can work together to customize an action plan. I am here to help you as you work toward improved health and quality of life.

I can care for dependents aged 18-26 and offer 30-minute routine or sick visits.

My partner and I have been going to Dr. Matta for several years now and we are part of the MDVIP. One of the reasons we chose Dr. Matta as our health care giver is that he has a stellar reputation with his patients. We found this out ourselves when seeking his attention for checkups and treatment.

Dr.Matta is a caring physician who exudes a charming personality. Not all physicians… See more
