My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My family medicine practice is in North Scottsdale. I have been practicing primary care medicine in Scottsdale and the Paradise Valley Area for more than 20 years. I have partnered with MDVIP to provide a practice that is tailored to personalized healthcare.

Let me tell you about my approach to personalized care. As a physician, I realize that asking a patient, “How are you doing?” takes time to answer. My partnership with MDVIP allows me the time needed to help take care of what matters to you. My goal is personalized, integrated care focused on you and your individual health needs.

Waiting and feeling rushed are two things that should not happen in a medical practice. Your care should be timely. Therefore, when you are sick or just concerned, I want to be available to you. My practice is smaller in size and allows for same- or next-day appointments, phone calls that are answered by a person and, most importantly, visits that are relaxed and not rushed. My patients can come in for an appointment or they can call or text me (even while they are traveling). We want to take care of you.

Each year, I provide my patients with the annual comprehensive MDVIP Wellness Program. It includes a series of advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests that have been shown to help detect issues earlier. With that in mind, personalized care is about the person. The goal is to look at the laboratory findings, tests and screening results as a reflection of each individual patient. With this information I can customize a care plan that makes sense. My patients get engaged, and as a result, they have the ability to be healthier. In many cases, we can even measure the improvements. That’s exciting!

Other benefits include same- or next-day appointments, 24/7 contact with me (your physician) and care for members’ dependents (ages 15-26). We also offer 30-minute routine or sick visits.

I am excited to have time and focused energy aimed at helping to improve your health and your life.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Oesch

from Marc in AZ March 11, 2024 for Seth D. Oesch, MD

One of the BEST things that I have ever done was start going to Dr. Seth Oeush. I am still pinching myself! I have lived in Scottsdale, AZ for 24 years. When I first moved here by a referral of a good friend I started going to a Dr., and went until he retired. I then started going to a relative of his, until he retired. I liked them both, but every time i left an appointment, I didn't… See more

As you will read, I unfortunately don't believe I've grasped the most descriptive words possible to set forth the marked contrast in my testimonial's title.

I attended Dr. Oesch's post physical exam explanatory session for my wife (a retired physician) in which there was banter back-and-forth between them over the values in her exam. When my session came, I… See more

Dr. Seth Oesch has been my primary care doctor for close to 30 years. I have followed him through 5 practices until landing at MDVIP. He has taken care of me through a variety of ailments. But I found out my toughest health challenge now lies ahead of me. This week I found out I have pancreatic cancer. Dr. Oesch’ support is invaluable as I begin my journey to fight this disease. His personal… See more

There’s not one single story. Dr. Oesch is always a caring and dedicated doctor. He makes me feel like a person, not just another patient. He’s thorough, answers all my questions and offers realistic, sensible suggestions. He’s a wonderful doctor.

from Barbara Joe in AZ February 22, 2024 for Seth D. Oesch, MD

Dr. Seth Oesch is exactly the kind of doctor one should expect to have with MDVIP. He is caring and thoughtful; he listens not only to what you are saying but what is implied. The first time we met Dr. Oesch, he went over our files which had been forward to hem. He noticed something in my husband's file and said that he would have to take it home and do some research on it and develop a plan.… See more

Well, this is probably going to be a long story, because there are several steps along the way to tell it correctly. My husband, Brian and I had done step one of our Wellness Exams, we had both had our blood work done. One day I was seeing Dr. Oesch for an other reason, and Brian was waiting in the car for me, and he got a call from our pharmacy about an issue with one of my medications, so… See more

Dr. Oesch, I can’t thank you enough for your patience and guidance over the last 15 years plus! From suggesting gastric bypass surgery to eliminating alcohol to getting all my scripts in order, you have been a pillar of getting my health in order. Today, it is quite possible that I am in the best shape of my life. After 3 heart attacks, I am walking 5.25 miles, in 90 minutes 3 times a week and… See more

from Frederick in AZ January 20, 2024 for Seth D. Oesch, MD

Dr. Seth Oesch has been my doctor for quite a number of years. When I heard he was creating his own practice using a "Concierge Medicine type of Model" thru MDVIP I was unsure. Having no experience with this approach to medicine I was very uncertain this was the approach I should take. I thoroughly investigated the pros and cons of making this change, included discussions with many… See more

Dr. Oesch has been my PCP for over twenty years. Last year he decided to join MDVIP. Things just got better. He now has time to discuss all current health issues and I trust him and feel he has my best interest at heart. He spent 90 minutes with me going over my physical exam results in depth. Amazing!

from Robert in AZ January 18, 2024 for Seth D. Oesch, MD
