My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My passion as a primary care physician is to provide you with personalized care and attention with an emphasis on prevention and wellness. We are all unique and deserve an individualized approach in managing our health. In my MDVIP-affiliated practice, you will be treated in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and you will benefit from the full extent of my listening and understanding. My patients and I create a plan of care together.

Some of my professional interests and areas of focus include preventive medicine, sports medicine, fitness and wellness, and dermatology. I practice a full scope of family medicine: my patients range in age from newborns to those with much life experience. I enjoy working with providers from all aspects of medicine and feel there are several ways to explore every situation. I participate in hospital and home visits.

As one of the few family medicine providers in Maricopa County offering a personalized healthcare approach, I provide a level of care that can help make overall health and wellness a reality. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments that start on time.

My primary care practice is located in Paradise Valley, Arizona, and currently serves the greater Phoenix area, including Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, Glendale, Sun City, Mesa and Tempe. I am fluent in English and speak some Spanish.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Mansfield

from Jeanette in AZ March 20, 2020 for Shayna M. Mansfield, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Mansfield for many years starting when she was an intern at Phoenix Baptist Hospital. She has always been the most compassionate, caring, knowledgable, responsive physician I have ever encountered in my 77 years of life. When I was injured in an auto accident over a year ago, had it not been for her advocacy, treatment and her continually making sure that I got… See more

No miracles or dramatic saving of my life here. Just a doctor who instills confidence because of her extraordinary care and concern for her patients. She certainly was a benefit to my wife, who suffered from dementia, making Betty’s life easier until the very end. But Dr. Mansfield’s care went beyond just “being a doctor”. It was obvious she was concerned not only for her but for her… See more

Aside from my marriage, the relationship I have with Dr. Mansfield is the most valued and appreciated one I have! As someone who as always been a little nervous in medical settings, I feel entirely comfortable in her care, confident in the decisions she makes for me as her patient and I trust and value her opinion above anyone else. I feel lucky to be her patient. She takes in interest in me… See more

I have suffered from migraines and sinus issues my entire adult life and didn't know where to turn for treatment. My sister suggested that I go see her physician, Dr. Mansfield, who embodies all of the traits a doctor should possess. She is caring, compassionate and committed to serving her patients. The Doctor takes time to explain each part of the annual physical (most in-depth we have ever had).
She (and her staff) fought with the insurance company over a period of weeks to allow a non-generic prescription medication to be approved (that had far better results than the generic).
Even before her new office was officially opened, we had a small emergency and she saw us anyway… See more
