Dr. Chang is a very knowledgeable and dedicated physician. He is always on top of his patient's health needs and care. He is very insistent that his patients adhere to their scheduled annual physical exams because he knows the importance of a timely medical diagnosis. Even with COVID-19, he made sure that his patients came in on a regular basis. I am so grateful that he was so diligent because he detected early a serious illness that I have (multiple myeloma) that is making it easier to treat and control than if I had delayed my annual physical exam for six months or more. His meticulous review of my blood test results enabled him to detect the anomaly in my blood work so that he could refer me to a specialist quickly to start my treatments. The relationship between a Doctor and their patient is extremely unique, I don't think there is any one interaction that is more important than the long term, on going relationship . Just knowing the I can reach out to Dr Chang any time of any day and be seen quickly is what's critical. I have friends who experience medical emergencies and have to visit an urgent care clinic or the Emergency Room because they cant be seen by their doctor for a week or longer. That has to create additional stress and anxiety in addition to what they are facing. Secure in the knowledge that I have an excellent physician available at anytime is very special.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. 2 days after arriving in South Africa for a 23 day trip, my husband experienced pain and swelling in his jaw. He was unable to open his mouth. Even though there was an 9 hr. difference, I was able to discuss needed procedures and possible diagnosis. He approved the antibiotic chosen by a local Dentist.
