My dream of becoming a primary care physician was inspired by my mother, who was a nurse, and the doctors she worked with as I was growing up. We lived in a small town, and when you went to the doctor, it was more than a checkup. It was truly personalized care. The doctor and the staff knew your name and wanted to hear what was going on in your life and how it affected your health.
As your personal doctor, I will take the time to cultivate a close doctor-patient relationship so I can help manage and better anticipate your unique healthcare needs. In my MDVIP-affiliated practice, you will feel welcomed by the relaxed, individualized attention you will receive. We will not only treat issues as they arise, but also work together to help you enjoy a healthier, more active life, whether it's spending more time with family and friends or traveling to your heart's desire. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same-or next-day appointments. And I offer the personalized service of house calls by boat as needed.
My primary care practice currently serves Hilton Head, Bluffton, Okatie and surrounding areas. With 17 years as a practicing internist in the Hilton Head community, I enjoy the variety of internal medicine and have particular interests in cardiovascular health, diabetes, hypertension and preventive medicine. I am affiliated with Hilton Head Regional Medical Center and have built relationships with many specialists in the area.
