My story starts with my great long-term relationship with Dr. Louis Marino. Like many patients and I’m sure colleagues I was devastated at Dr. Marinos unexpected passing at such a young age. I was introduced the Dr. Yan Kiriakov and of course I thought no one could replace Dr. Marino. However, in time Dr. Yan has proved himself highly professional, competent doctor. He’s always available if I have a question even after hours and is extremely responsive and follows up with me to see if the medication or condition has improved. I was recently vacationing in St Maarten and suddenly contracted and eye infection. I was able to send a text to Dr. Yan and was amazed that he was able to contact a local pharmacy in a foreign country, and I had my prescription in a matter of hours which cleared up my issue. I am very grateful to to be a patient of Dr. Yan, and I never hesitate to refer him to other clients and even my other doctors as he is the consummate professional and his prognosis are respected by other physicians. And of course the entire MDVIP staff is always very responsive and welcoming and answer all my questions thoroughly. Please feel free to post this on Google or use it in any public forum. I have been with MDVIP since I moved to Pennsylvania in 2016, specifically with the Furlong, PA office, and I would say unequovically that joining MDVIP was one of the best moves I could have made. While I had a great relationship with my PCP in New Hampshire, if I got to spend 15 minutes with him on a checkup it was a lot. That is the nature of healthcare in America - it's a numbers game with the insurance companies. I understand that. But I was not happy about it. Since joining MDVIP I have had the opposite experience. My sessions with my doctor, Dr. Yan Kiriakov are relaxed, and he takes his time talking about my health concerns, and any meds he prescribed are fully explained to me. His staff, Paris Ramuno, Donna Penza, Danielle Lloyd and Jen Hornstein are so responsive to my calls, so warm and personable, that I could not be more secure in how they are taking care of me. Dr. Yan is so knowledgeable I have complete trust in him, and he also is very warm and caring. I would recommend MDVIP to my friends and colleagues without reservation, especially this group.

My goal as a family physician is to help you achieve and maintain optimal health, not just treat illness. With experience in managing blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease and many other conditions, I believe I am well prepared to help you on your health journey.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
