My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I have been practicing medicine for almost 3 decades. During this time, I have dealt with various physical and emotional problems affecting my patients. I want to help reduce illness and help patients live a healthier life rather than chase after disease. I have learned that pursuit of wellbeing and health requires collaboration between a patient and their physician. I feel that offering patient-centered, prevention targeted health care would reduce both physical and emotional illnesses.

I would like to help my patients with managing their health by figuring out what their barriers are so that bad habits can be reduced, and we can implement good habits. To manage these changes, time is of the essence. In my MDVIP-affiliated practice, time is going to be easily managed and patients will spend time with me on a one-on-one basis to achieve the goals of their wellness. I have very close relationships with my patients and developed their trust in my care, which makes it easier to deal with any problems that may come along in the future years. In addition, I have formed important and close relationships with many specialist physicians in case my patients need their care. I want to make sure that I spend enough time to help mitigate my patients’ concerns regarding their health.

I am board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. I have been in the same practice at the same address for the past 29 years and intend to continue to practice for many more years. I would like my patients to join me in pursuit of health and wellbeing.

Telemedicine Option: I am also using telemedicine visits to stay connected with my patients when they are unable to see me in the office. It is easy to do, and we have maintained our momentum with preventive health goals and chronic care during difficult times.
