Dr. Fabricius has always been supportive of my staying active and encourages me to live my life without worrying about other people's opinions especially now that I am 80 years old. I think of her as a friend that I can talk to about anything.

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
I have been a physician for over 30 years, first in Chicago, and now Oak Ridge where I see patients from the city and surrounding areas. My favorite part of being a doctor is taking care of generations of families and guiding them through life’s healthcare challenges and miracles. From diabetes and nutrition, to women’s health and well-baby visits; it’s about being your doctor for life. I do my best to keep you and your family out of the hospital, but if you do need to be hospitalized I am affiliated with Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Taking care of you is my top priority and by taking the time to focus on prevention and wellness you’ll get more out of your visits and more out of life.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Fabricius
I contracted an upper respiratory virus in October 2023. I was lethargic in bed coughing constantly for a couple of weeks. My husband said I needed to go to Doctor. I made the appointment and arrived next day. The office was ready for me, went straight to patient room. After checking me over, I could tell Dr. F was very concerned. I was very sick and did not realize the severity. I… See more
When my husband was very ill Dr Fabricius was there. He had so many doctors that he was seeing and I had asked Dr Fabricius to please be the ringleader of all of it - and she did. When he passed she came to his funeral which was more than an hour away. Since then she has supported and given me moral support in every way she can. I love going in for an appointment - she takes the time to… See more
Dr. Fabricius at one time or another is a cheerleader, an investigator, a confidant, an instructor, always honest, good-humored, and patient.......and she probably saved me from a [gruesome] trip to the emergency room
I have deep appreciation for her knowledge, nature, and communication.

My doctor, Diane Fabricius, MD, excels in compassionate health care. She listens intently and observes unobtrusively. She researches situations and remedies before vividly explaining any health concerns. I applaud her knowledge and manner. I trust her judgments and recommendations. She deserves an A+ rating.

My story is simple but heartfelt. I visited my doctor recently with stress-related physical symptoms. My doctor (Dr. Fabricius) did some physical tests and asked me questions. After that, we talked. She presented me with some re-frames and thoughtful ideas to manage my stress (beyond the expected exercise more, get plenty of sleep, etc). It was just soothing and helpful and I left with a… See more
I feel blessed to have had Dr. Diane Fabricius as my physician for many years, some before she joined MDVIP. I credit her for improving my health and helping me to avoid negative health conditions. She LISTENS, ADVISES, and CARES.
I always take a list of questions and Dr. Fabricius answers and even looks things up while I’m in the office so we can discuss. Her exams are thorough and… See more
Dr Diane Fabricius by far the best doctor I have ever seen. I’m in my late 70’s and have had some rough times in the last couple of years. I have polycythemia Vera and it has weakened my immune system. In 2019 she set me up to visit MD Anderson for my cancer. Before that trip I mentioned to her that I had a slight swelling in one leg. Not one to take chances she sent me for a Doppler and I… See more
I don’t have a specific story to tell but I do have only the best things to say about Dr Fabricius. I love that she really cares about me and my health. She absolutely listens to everything I have to say and then addresses each issue. I feel very comfortable talking with her about anything and that means a lot to me. My everyday life is so much better because of her. I highly recommend her to… See more
I started seeing Dr. Diane Fabricius in 2017 after experiencing severe leg pain that saw me going from specialist to specialist with no answers. She helped me get answers, and in the years since has been always been concerned about my health (especially my weight). At my annual wellness in 2021, she suggested I consider bariatric surgery. That was about the time I hit 398 pounds (at 5… See more
