My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

During my ten years of hospital care experience, I have diagnosed and managed many chronic diseases and their complications. Now, as I transition to outpatient care, I am excited to focus my practice on preventive medicine. Whether it is preventing the disease or it’s complications, the key is always communication.

Being the first female MDVIP-affiliated physician in the Tampa Bay area, I am committed to providing care that is based on my patients’ individual needs. The MDVIP model allows physicians to spend more time with each patient to be educators and advocates for our patients’ well-being. I hope to provide my patients with personalized care that is meaningful so they may reach their optimal health.

I came to Dr. Syed in the middle of a health crisis and she was terrific. Her bedside manner, ability to communicate and knowledge and comprehensive exam/testing are superb! She was kind and patient through all of my trials and extremely glad I found her!

Dear Dr. Syed,

I just wanted to take the time to let you know just what it means to me to have a doctor that really makes me feel they care. Taking time with me, making me feel that you are not in a hurry to see your next patient, means so much.

Being the age of 70, it is important for me to have confidence in my doctor. I hope you continue to practice as a primary care… See more
