My own directive as your personal doctor is to partner with you to help improve your understanding of your health, improve your quality of life and/or function and decrease your dependence on medication when possible. It is my goal to keep patients out of the hospital and to minimize emergency room and urgent care visits through proactive, individualized care. As your advocate, I can consult with insurance companies, recommend specific tests and screenings and liaise with your specialists. I am affiliated with William Beaumont Hospital – Troy Campus and can support your care and release in the event of hospitalization. I also make home visits on a case-by-case basis. 

I strongly believe the more developed your understanding of your health, the better equipped you are to live the healthy, active life you deserve. The MDVIP model allows me the time to explain your test results and health conditions in detail. I will work with you at each step to help you make informed decisions toward achieving your goals – whether it’s participating in sports at a competitive level, improving lost physical function, reducing medications or maintaining the independence that can be threatened as we age. And for the individuals who have a busy life working, same-day or next-day appointments and the ability to contact me after hours can minimize your time away from work and, in some cases, may help expedite your recovery. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. 

As one of the few internal medicine doctors in the Detroit metro area offering this personalized healthcare approach I provide a level of care that can help improve your health and quality of life. My practice is located in Troy, Michigan, and serves patients from Novi to Port Huron and as far north as Flint down to Detroit, including Troy, Rochester, Shelby, Birmingham, Oakland, Bloomfield, Sterling Heights, Warren, Royal Oak, Ferndale, Chesterfield and Clinton Township. We focus on internal medicine and preventive care in addition to all aspects of primary care.
