Meet Louis B. Fowler Jr., MD

I have had the pleasure of being a primary care family physician in Pensacola for over 30 years. I was fortunate enough to have been selected for a full scholarship to medical school by the U.S. Navy and served as a NAVY flight surgeon on the USS AMERICA. With years of experience, my skills are honed to a sharp diagnostic edge and figuring out medical problems is my forte.

As an MDVIP-affiliated physician, I look forward to having additional time and resources to be able to help you with your health and medical challenges, including diagnosis, treatment and referrals to specialists. I believe prevention and personalized healthcare is paramount.

Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

I don’t have a particular story but I do have to comment on how kind and compassionate Dr. Fowler is! No matter how large or small the problem is he always listens attentively, explains things making sure you understand, and then looks for a solution.
