I have been a patient of Dr. Lou for probably close to 30 years and he has always been a wonderful doctor. The difference today Is he has more time to spend with us and is always researching the newest and lastest research studies to keep us as healthy as we can be! He doesnt like surprises!!! On a scale of 1-10... he gets 11!
I am presently being treated for cancer that Lou identified thru MRI's and ERAYS. He then proceeded to put together a team of specialist that have drawn on their expertise and have added colleagues they hold in high regard to insure that I have the best possible chance of curing me of cancer.
Lou is in constant contact with the team and keeps me well informed.
Dr. Malinow has had a tremendous impact on my lifestyle, primarily my eating habits. I was going from bad to worse concerning the big three; high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol. After reading me the riot act numerous times, and being mostly patient with me (impatiently) it finally sank in. I went on the diet he recommended, high protein, high fat and low carbs together… See more
I have had a few doctors in my life, but no one quite like Dr. Mallinow. He is amazing in properly analyzing my problems that I brought to him. I doubt if I would as healthy as I am without him always giving me proper advice and keeping my almost 86 year old body going. He is always available at all hours of the day, returns my phone calls and I truly could not ask for more. His staff is… See more

Dr Malinow cares more about his patients than any other doctor I have ever used. He keeps up on current medical and dietary research and realizes that prevention is just as important as a cure. He is an excellent resource for all aspects of health living.
Dear Dr. Lou, We feel blessed to have you in our lives. As a wonderful and so capable physician but as a caring friend. You are always available to us and you have no idea when you are dealing with a very serious illness how comforting it is to know that! Also when we want to share your opinions with our daughter you are always open to that and never make us feel that you are threatened.… See more
He's been my Doctor for over 20 years! We have grown up together and he is the absolute best. He keeps me healthy, he keeps me motivated and he stays on the cutting edge of health science. I can't imagine ever going to another Doctor...and I have moved 6 hours away. Nope not gonna give up my Dr. Malinow! Love him better than cooked food! :)
Dr. Malinow takes the time to listen and understand what his patients medical concerns are and thoughtfully gives feedback and solutions to all issues, large and small. I also am constantly impressed and thrilled by his nutritional knowledge which I have found to be a rare find amongst General Practitioners.

If you pay attention to nutrition news, you’ve probably heard just about everything about eggs. The good, the bad and the half-boiled! Here’s the latest: Eggs aren’t the pariah they once were.

In 2003 a new weight loss fad began emerging—high protein diets. For a while, these high-protein, low-carb diets seemed like the Holy Grail of weight loss.
Over time, many people found these diets difficult to sustain and associated with some health issues. The diets fell out of favor as… See more
