My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I have been a family medicine physician practicing primary care in Bucks County for close to 15 years. It continues to be a true honor to care for my patients and their families. I believe in personalized care and taking a team approach where the patients and I work together to set objectives and make plans for their health and wellness. I understand that every patient has their own set of individual medical needs and health related goals, it is my job to help each patient strive to reach those goals and give them the tools to do so. Those who know me realize early on that I believe in preventive medicine and a healthy lifestyle along with traditional medical care. Some of my biggest enjoyments in practice come from the patient’s enthusiasm when reaching personalized goals.

As a board certified physician in family medicine that serves Newtown, Yardley, Langhorne and the surrounding Bucks County areas, I have a particular interest in nutrition, preventive care, exercise and goal setting. I perform dermatological screenings as well as skin and orthopedic office based procedures including joint injections for arthritis and sports injuries. By affiliating with MDVIP, I can create a personalized medical practice and can also ensure that each patient will get the time and attention they require. I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments that start on time, which may be found in concierge medicine practices. I am currently on staff at Holy Redeemer Hospital as well as St. Mary Medical Center where I have served as Chairman of Family Medicine as well as on numerous medical and hospital related committees. I look forward to working with you as your private doctor where we can plan for your ongoing medical and physical well-being.

Dr. Mathew Kulka has been my physician for many years.

He always has the time to sit with me to questions the issues I have had and to enlighten me as what is new in treatment.

I try not to take up too much of his time.

He makes me feel like I am his favorite patient.

The Year was 2006 I was 62 years old and fairly healthy after a battle with prostrate cancer in 2001. A elevated PSA ordered by Dr. Kulka was my first saving grace. He suggested it was time for a stress test followed by a cat scan which showed what was diagnosed as a small aneurysm and would be watched and placed on blood pressure medication to keep what was considered to be a normal Blood… See more

Dr Kulka is always there when you need him. Whether it is discussing a particular condition or symptoms and what they mean or discussing results of medical tests. He takes time to explain things and offers insights based on his experience. He is a great listener and always ready to discuss my viewpoint vs his. He offers advice on how to deal with issues. Great doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Matt Kulka rates 5 stars in every way ! In the height of the pandemic when my husband was ill and we were trapped in Florida, he guided us through that terrifying time with wisdom, compassion and sometimes, humor. My husband trusted him implicitly, and Dr. Kulka could get him to make the decisions that needed to be made. Since my husband’s death I have been comforted by knowing I have… See more

I am new to the practice but Dr. Kulka and his staff has really helped our family in our time of need. Yesterday I was walking down the hall in the hospital where my husband is and Dr. Kulka stopped and spoke to me. He had been to visit my husband. He also called me about results of my medical testing. His assistant Sherry spent an hour and half with me trying to figure why I fainted on a… See more

My Mother, Elizabeth Hovsepian, is a patient of Dr. Matthew Kulka along with my husband and myself.

My Mother is 98 years young; however, she isn't your normal 98 year old. Up until a few years ago, my Mom used to bowl twice a week and had a personal trainer 3 times a week. My Mom is someone who doesn't stop. This characteristic is both good and bad. She gets ahead of… See more

My MDVIP provider is Dr. Lillian Cohn and I cannot say enough good things about her. Her personal touch, whether during office visits or telephone calls, is invaluable. I know she is listening to my concerns and ills. Dr. Cohn genuinely is concerned about my health. She goes above and beyond to address my medical needs. Dr. Cohn brings her intelligence, experience, and when appropriate, even… See more
