Being an MDVIP-affiliated primary care physician allows me to better achieve my goals of practicing medicine in an unhurried way, listening to my patients and caring for them more personally and proactively. When I meet a patient, I enjoy getting to know them, not just for their medical needs, but also as a whole person with their unique emotional and social circumstances. I strive to engage patients and help them take more ownership of their health and better improve their lifestyle. By doing so, it may be possible to reduce the number of medications they take. I am committed to regularly reviewing my patients' medications to see if any may have become less necessary or are potentially causing adverse effects. 

My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests that go far beyond those found in traditional concierge medicine practices. I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments and the ability to contact me during and after hours. Most patients can get their prescriptions filled during their visits. I enjoy taking more time to cover health concerns, which, along with the diagnostics in the annual MDVIP Wellness Program, may make it possible to better avoid an ER visit or hospital admission.

I am grateful for the ability to provide more preventive medical care and help my patients enjoy healthier, more fulfilling lives. 

I am originally from Switzerland. My wife, who is American, and I met while in college studying in Geneva. We married and moved to the United States and have been in Punta Gorda since 2003. We have two children. I love scuba diving, photography and wakeboarding. I am fluent in French.
