I am a very new patient, but have thus far been impressed with Dr. Bienert's care, especially with respect to my history of osteoporosis.

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
As a female doctor, I have a particular focus on women’s health, as well as primary care of children/teens. I have great enthusiasm for all the ways to improve your overall wellness and will work with you to create healthy lifestyle habits I use myself. My MDVIP-affiliated practice also offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. My patient base is the Northern Virginia and DC metro areas, including Springfield, Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, as well as Maryland.
I am affiliated with INOVA Alexandria Hospital and was named a Top Doctor by Northern Virginia Magazine for three consecutive years and one of the Best Doctors in America® in 2014.
Great health is a journey and one worth attention, personalization, time and effort. I look forward to walking you along the path of wellness as your family doctor!

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Bienert
I have been blessed to have pretty good health most of my life, so my interactions with Dr. Bienert is typically during my annual physical. From the time I enter the practice and am greeted by the staff and PA I feel at ease. And when Dr. Bienert enters the exam room, bright and cheerful it’s like greeting a good friend. I am comfortable sharing and catching her up on my life’s events since… See more
I first met Dr. Bienert while visiting my brother in Virginia. She was able to help me with a medical issue at that time. After meeting her I knew I wanted to be able to see her as my PCP. After explaining the MDVIP program I knew I wanted to join to see Dr. Bienert as my primary but also realized I could seek treatment if needed while on the road. I live full-time traveling the US in a… See more
DR Bienert remains my longest care giver of all time. I am privileged to have her and know that she takes good care of my wife, which is the most important thing that she adds to my health care.

I first found Dr Susan Bienert in 2004 on an Internet search. We appreciated her University of Virginia training. I liked her immediately after my first appointment and my wife did as well. This was something special for us, having been in the military for all our adult lives and then wandering through outpatient clinics and occasional specialists. We were missing having a family doctor… See more

It was a terrifying diagnosis, and required me to navigate multiple providers (a dermatologist, a specialty surgeon), facilities (including an unfamiliar hospital) and information (lab results from biopsy and surgery). Dr. Bienert immediately became my melanoma "project coordinator" -- connecting… See more
