I admit, I questioned the value of MDVIP right up until the time I really needed it. I became very ill while out of town. I was able to call Dr. Daab directly, on a Sunday morning. She talked me through some short-term measures I could take to minimize the pain while traveling. As soon as I returned home the next day, she got me in the office right away. She immediately sent me on to the Emergency Department at the hospital. Once I was released, she called the surgeon directly to make sure his office got me on the surgery schedule as soon as possible to have my gallbladder removed. She even completed some of the pre-surgery testing at her office to save me another visit to the hospital. All through this process, Dr. Daab and I used text messages to communicate at every step and at all hours even in the ER! It provided such peace of mind to know that she was there to provide a second opinion, to champion my case and to make sure I received the best care.
