Dr. Laughlin is immensely likable, but I'd like him even without his happy personality. Why? (1) He was able, at once, to repair a medical problem for me and, so far, it has not reappeared; (2) He listens and follows up; (3) He has friendly and competent staff; and (4) He wears cool and funky eyewear and shoes. (Okay, the last part may not be important others, but to me, a sense of humor is critically important to life, wellness and the pursuit of happiness.)
