Dear Dr. Wingert,
You have seen me through most of my adult life. I first met you when my oldest daughter was one (now shes 28). I suffer from long-term sinus issues and you encouraged me to explore alternative treatments and then referred me to a particularly gifted specialist who practices out-of-the-area.
You have walked with me through a long and difficult divorce and celebrated with me a love is better the second time around marriage.
In menopause, Ive struggled with weight gain. As a nurse, my physical appearance is closely tied to my RN psyche. Ive always wanted to be an example (as much as is humanly possible) of a healthy lifestyle. Engaging in regular exercise. Staying within my ideal weight range. Being healthy is part of my professional image. You have recommended books and encouraged me to not give up in my quest. Of course, no one really walks the talk to the extent that you do, Dr. Wingert.
Thank you, Dr. Wingert, for being a compassionate and knowledgeable guide in my life. Happy Doctors Day!!!
