Dr. Herman, Ill never forget that afternoon in September 2017 when I wasnt even your patient and came into your office after hours with Meda. You realized that I was at low ebb and immediately went into action, extending your work day, examining me thoroughly, pre-diagnosing my blood clots, and immediately putting me on anticoagulants. Of course, subsequent tests confirmed your suspicions and revealed massive blood clots. You saw me through my days in ICU and my initial weeks of stabilization in my new normal.
