There have been two healthcare issues that stand out as contributing to my health and happiness among the many good aspects of the medical Dr. Yerg povides. First, he uncovered significant hypothyroidism that was causing me to be exceedingly tired and gain weight. I have a history of depression and had assumed that I was getting into trouble again, but when Dr. Yerg placed me on thyroid replacement therapy and corrected the deficit I was back to my old self. The second regards vanity more than anything else. For about ten years my eyelashes had been falling out, making me very unhappy with my looks. One ophthalmologist and two optometrists paid no attention to my complaint in the past. Dr. Yerg immediately diagnosed the problem as a chronic infection and prescribed antibiotics. I am happy to say that my vanity has been repaired. My eyelashes have not completely returned to normal but are at least 90 of normal. I am a physician myself and travel from Alexandria, VA to the north side of Washington, DC to see Dr. Yerg. It is worth every mile.
