My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
I am a Mayo Clinic trained, board certified, internal medicine physician who is experienced in patient centered primary care. In addition to managing health problems from a holistic perspective, I am committed to personalized, quality patient care with a focus on health and wellness. I want my patients to have the ability to come to an office which is relaxed, welcoming and positive, where I can be fully focused on their health care needs. In my MDVIP-affiliated practice I will be available to my patients when they need me for as long as they need me. Together we will formulate a personalized long term health care plan with goals corresponding with their unique needs. I aspire to remain knowledgeable of cutting edge medicine and to being the best doctor I can be. I am committed to helping patients navigate the ever changing health care system and coordinating care with their specialists and hospitalists.
I have partnered with MDVIP to give the people of Robertson County and the surrounding areas the opportunity to participate in a medical practice, which promotes the goals of the personalized, quality healthcare we all want. I am very excited about MDVIP’s approach which has the comprehensive Annual Wellness Exam and patient-physician relationship at its cornerstone. I was driving in Goodlettsville, Tn in February 2013 when I got a call from my doctor, Teresa Williams. She said from a recent chest X-Ray that there was a spot on my lung that concerned her. Within a couple of weeks, I was in the hospital having it removed. She caught this very early. I did not have to have any chemo or radiation. I think she saved my life. My dad (a patient of Dr. Williams) slipped in shower, received a deep gash in his arm, Dr. Williams an office personnel took care of my dad from the time we arrived at her office and are continuing to do so.
