My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

As a dedicated family medicine physician, my commitment is to deliver more personalized care. My goal is not only to review your current healthcare needs, but also to emphasize the crucial role of preventive measures in helping to maintain long-term wellness.

In my MDVIP-affiliated practice, I believe more time is the cornerstone of proper care. With each patient, I allocate 30 to 90 minutes per visit, which gives us more time to forge a stronger patient-physician relationship. I feel this bond is pivotal in discussing your health concerns, better understanding your unique health profile, setting more realistic goals, and helping guide you toward better achieving them.

My journey in medicine started 25 years ago in Millersville, Maryland, followed by Seattle and at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo while my husband served in the U.S. Navy. When he retired, we returned to Arnold, MD. These experiences not only helped hone my medical expertise, but also enrich my cultural understanding and empathy toward patients from varied backgrounds. My practice is based in Elkridge, Maryland, where I am privileged to serve a diverse patient population stretching from Columbia to Annapolis.

I have a special interest in preventive care, as well as addressing chronic conditions, such as hypertension and diabetes. My practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. This allows me to provide more individualized care, so we can work to establish a wellness plan. In an environment that values patient-centered care, I am committed to being your doctor, as well as a trusted partner in your journey toward more optimal health.
