James E. Lang, MD

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

  • Explain to my patients what their health conditions are in a clear and understandable manner.
  • A shared responsibility, with my patients, for their health.
  • Provide directions for all prescriptions explaining what the medication is for.
  • A lifestyle that is moderately active at all ages, combined with excellent healthcare which enables patients to achieve both longevity and high quality of life.
  • Continuity of care if patients are hospitalized. I still personally admit and provide the care for my hospitalized patients at the Jewish Hospital in Kenwood when illness occurs or surgery is required. I believe this is invaluable.
