Dr. Rai has been mine and my husband’s primary care for 17+years.
Dr. Rai always takes the time to listen to us. He never makes us feel hurried. He answers all of our questions and now being in our 60’s we have LOTS of questions! He’s always been there for us following the passing of our son, parents and brother. He is very kind, has a great bedside manner and has a wonderful sense of… See more

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
I speak several languages and am very comfortable with cultural diversity/unity of humanity, and I can explain medical jargon in terms that my patients understand. I enjoy the role of being my patients' healthcare "quarterback", and I don't like to lose.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Rai
My husband has leukemia, every day is quite a challenge as he gets older as well. I'm a bit younger but my insulin levels were creeping up until I was pre-diabetic and knew something had to be done. Before joining MDVIP it was so hard to access my primary care physician, appointments were months out, most of the time visits were with strange doctors in the practice I'd never met, and… See more
I've been a patient of Dr. Rai's for many years. He was my dad's doctor, and he was so good to him - with his never-give-up-attitude Dr. Rai kept my dad going for 15 really good years when other doctors told him to go home and get his affairs in order. During that time, I also started seeing Dr. Rai. I suffer from anxiety and knowing the stress of being my parents' caretaker, he knew when to… See more

Dr. Rai has been our doctor for many years and has always taken the time to help us whenever called upon. He is the first to report results of tests and has given good advice when needed. We really appreciate you and hope you enjoy National Doctors Day.

Dr. Rai has been an excellent health advisor for me over the past 12 years. A few years ago I fractured my left toe. Dr. Rai helped me to make a decision between surgery vs letting the toe heal by itself. I went with Dr. Rai's advice and I am very happy that I did.
After my annual physical last year, Dr. Rai mentioned that he saw a small "burp" (my word, not his) on my EKG. Right away he gently asked about past heart rhythm oddities and had his assistant write up an order for further tests and appointment with a cardiologist. He's like that, very proactive. I have ignored it my whole life.
My wife, on the other hand, contacts him for… See more
I was a patient of an MDVIP doctor for over 30 years and he retired last year. The doctor who took over his practice, also an MDVP doctor, was just not a comfortable fit for me. A friend recommended Dr. Rai and I made an appointment to meet with him. My daughter and I both felt very comfortable with him at this introduction meeting and I decided to switch from the doctor I had to Dr. Rai.… See more
