As I have recently retired, I've been pleased to be participating in a wellness program with Dr. Serio. I've lost 40 pounds in two years and have an exercise routine established. In addition, I dance twice weekly and walk at every opportunity. I have changed my eating, eliminating saturated fats and fats habitually. My snacks are fruits or vegetables instead of my former choices. I am a healthier person than I was when working. I am committed to staying healthier.

Been a patient for 12 or 13 years. Dr Serio has always been friendly and caring. I've always felt that he had my best interests in mind and treats me as an intelligent adult. In 2007, he diagnosed me with colon cancer which turned out to be stage three. After a year of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, I have been clean for seven years. I am deeply in his debt.

Dr. Serio is one of the few Drs. that truly listens to what you have to say, understanding that you know your body best and can describe the symptoms. His patient and understanding manner ends in results that make a difference in your life. He is truly a healer and a compassionate man.

Dr. Serio has been my trusted, treating Physician for many years and I am truly blessed to have him as my Physician! I trust his diagnosis when a problem arises to be accurate, and he explains in terms I can relate too, with patience and compassion. He remembers who I am and that makes me feel special and not like a number in a waiting room. He is a wonderful Physician and I appreciate his Staff and him.....Thank you!

My grandmother was Dr. Serios's 1st patient. He was so great with my grandmother, that my mother made him her doctor. I am glad to say that he is my doctor too. The reason that he has been the physician of choice in our family is that doctor Serio is a throwback to the old days: a doctor that cares.

Since I do not recall the year that I made the first appointment with Dr. Serio, I am estimating that it may be about 20 years ago. Little less. I had asked for a referral from TMH, given his name and phone number as a physician qualified to treat high blood pressure. It was an excellent referral, my blood pressure remains to day, stable and in normal bounds. He always has health tips that make sense and are reasonable. Having a professor for a family Doctor is a little unusual, and this whole relationship has been a healthy learning experience.
