Prior to joining Dr. Yerg's MDVIP practice my daughter was not satisfied with my prior internist. She felt that he didn't offer any value added or used his experience to advise on what was an important issue or not. He referred me to specialists routinely and automatically for everything which was difficult for my daughter since she had to take off work to take me all around town to specialists. Also she felt that he wasn't helpful during a period during which I was in extreme pain which was not well controlled. Her life is so much better now that I am in Dr. Yerg's practice.

At age 71 I can say Dr.John Yerg is the most competent and thorough primary physician I ever have had. My annual physical exam with him is the most thorough I have ever had; and he takes whatever time is necessary to discuss the results. I cannot express any higher praise for Dr.Yerg. If anyone I know was seeking a primary care physician I would encourage them to consider Dr. Yerg and MDVIP.

I am from Montana and Dr. Yerg is my country doctor in a Big city! He always takes-makes time to see me no matter how busy his office is! He cares about me as a patient and as a friend.

Dr. Yerg saved my life. When I went to see him the first time, I had a months long case of bronchitis and asthma/COPD that was not being managed at all. In a relatively shott period of time, the bronchitis was cured and the COPD is being managed. I really appreciate his professional competence and kind manner. He is very accessible. I am so glad he is my physician.

Dr. Yerg has been keeping me healthy for years by encourging me to lose weight, eat healthy, and exercise. He always takes the time to listen and has a great sense of humor. He calls me the next day with the blood test results, and always responds promptly if I send him an email. Dr Yerg closely monitors my glucose numbers to prevent diabetes, and last year insisted I get my cervical disc repaired so I could lead a better quality of life and get back into the game of tennis and golf once again. I hope he continues to stay in the medical profession since I highly depend upon his knowlege. He has been keeping me healthy for 15 years, and I feel lucky to have him as my primary doctor.

There have been two healthcare issues that stand out as contributing to my health and happiness among the many good aspects of the medical Dr. Yerg povides. First, he uncovered significant hypothyroidism that was causing me to be exceedingly tired and gain weight. I have a history of depression and had assumed that I was getting into trouble again, but when Dr. Yerg placed me on thyroid replacement therapy and corrected the deficit I was back to my old self. The second regards vanity more than anything else. For about ten years my eyelashes had been falling out, making me very unhappy with my looks. One ophthalmologist and two optometrists paid no attention to my complaint in the past. Dr. Yerg immediately diagnosed the problem as a chronic infection and prescribed antibiotics. I am happy to say that my vanity has been repaired. My eyelashes have not completely returned to normal but are at least 90 of normal. I am a physician myself and travel from Alexandria, VA to the north side of Washington, DC to see Dr. Yerg. It is worth every mile.
