Now that I'm older and soon to enter Medicare I have been able to experience a considerable change in the doctor patient relationship. I remember the days when the doctor came to your home or you could just call your doctor and he would see you immediately. Well, those days have sure changed. In many cases now, you call of an appointment, and you wait a week and then you have to see the PA before you even see the doctor. Then if you're lucky you get 5 minutes with the doctor. In most cases you indeed feel like a number and not a person. The experience with Dr Hoshiwara is so different. It's one of caring, compassion and consideration. It's not about one occurrence it's about every experience. It's not about one moment it's about every moment you work with him and his staff. He and his staff care, and they show it every time you communicate with them. They are always there and if they are not available you will get a phone call back within an hour of two. They will do whatever they need to do to address your situation.....not one time....every time. I'm lucky to be a patient of his and I appreciate him not only as a doctor but as a human being.
